HEALTH MASSAGE

Massage is the "under dog" in the world of treatments for wellbeing.  Although it has many and varied benefits, most people believe massage's sole purpose is relaxation.  I'd love for you to know that there is much more to it so I've listed 12 benefits of massage that you might not have known about.

1. BLOOD CIRCULATION

Massage stimulates muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and skin, improving blood circulation.  The massage techniques that I use actually facilitate blood flow through your congested areas, releasing pressure and allowing new blood to flow through targeted areas.

2.  LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE

The positive effects massage has on your blood circulation in turn leads to lower blood pressure and improved body functions.

3.  IMPROVED LYMPHATIC FUNCTIONS & REMOVAL OF LACTIC ACID

When your muscles are stimulated during massage, lactic acid is flushed from the muscles, which contributes to improved functioning of your lymphatic system.

FUSION MASSAGE

All three of my main treatments - Health Massage, Reflexology, and Reiki - are profoundly beneficial.  So much so, that I found some clients could not choose which treatment they would prefer.  In order to cater for the curious, I created the Fusion Massage which takes a few of the fundamentals from each treatment and combines them to create an unique blended experience.  This treatment is designed specifically for clients who are experiencing reflexology and Reiki for the first time so they can feel comfortable and gain a better understanding of these processes.  Although this massage does not deliver the full affect of any of the disciplines to the extent that they would be experienced in their own right, it does cause the body to relax, promote blood circulation and therefore assists in lowering blood pressure and stress levels.  It is a beneficial option for anyone wishing to expand their horizons and try a new approach to maintaining good health and wellbeing.
